Iran exports commodities worth $303m to Azerbaijan in 7 months

Iran exported commodities valued at $303.315 million to Azerbaijan during the first seven months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21-October 22), according to the spokesman of the International Relations and Trade Development Committee of Iran's House of Industry, Mining and Trade.

Ruhollah Latifi said that the value of Iran’s export to its neighbor, Azerbaijan, fell 28 percent in the seven-month period of this year, from that of the previous year.

As previously announced by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), the value of trade between Iran and Azerbaijan increased by 13 percent in the past Iranian calendar year 1401 (ended on March 20).

Iran-Azerbaijan trade was $688 million in 1401, and $608 million in 1400.
