Italian public space scholar: Public spaces are essential for inclusive cities

“Public spaces are a key component in the design of future cities, as well as in the improvement and transformation of existing environments within the urban context,” Luisa Bravo, founder and president of the Italian company “City Space Architecture,” participating in the WUF13, told AZERTAC.
As a representative of a non-profit organization, she stated that public spaces should be ensured as a fundamental right of urban residents, and emphasized that from a planning perspective they are vital to the development of more sustainable, safe, and inclusive cities.
