Murat Kurum: We are determined to further strengthen relations with Azerbaijan

“Today, we are participating in the 13th United Nations World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Azerbaijan. The “One nation, two states” principle guiding relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye continues to strengthen ties between the two countries for the future of their peoples. Efforts are also ongoing with relevant parties to further enhance bilateral cooperation,” Murat Kurum, Türkiye’s Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change and President of COP31, told AZERTAC.
Highlighting the signing of a MoU on Technical Cooperation in Building Energy Efficiency between the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change of Türkiye on the sidelines of the 13th World Urban Forum, Murat Kurum noted that the strong will of the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Türkiye for friendship enables closer cooperation between the two countries.
“We are determined to further strengthen our relations with Azerbaijan. Our goal is to develop our cooperation as two strong states in the region and contribute to peace in the world,” he emphasized.
