NINE KILLED IN AFGHAN HELICOPTER CRASH: NATO
Baku, September 21 (AZERTAC). A helicopter carrying international troops crashed Tuesday, killing nine service members in southern Afghanistan where troops are ramping up pressure on Taliban insurgents. It was the deadliest chopper crash in years in the country where they are heavily used for military troops spread over mountainous terrain with few roads. The crash has raised the death toll among foreign troops in Afghanistan this year to 529.
