Nizhny Novgorod to host 1st International Business Summit
Baku, September 2 (AZERTAC). The first International Business Summit will be held in Nizhny Novgorod on September 27-29. The theme of the Business Summit is "Doing Business in Russia: Nizhny Novgorod".
The Summit is organized by the Government of Nizhny Novgorod with the support of the Government of the Russian Federation.
The main goal of the Summit is to ensure effective dialog between members of the business community for the benefit of society and the state.
The International Business Summit will consist of two parts: the congress part and the exhibition part. The first part will address the problems currently faced by the Russian business community and the investment climate in Russia today. The exhibition component (International Industrial Show entitled "New Investments: From Projects to Development") will be devoted to presentations of the various investment projects currently being pursued by constituent entities of the Russian Federation, and showcase proposals for new investment projects (in capital, technology, knowledge and business), the development of industrial production in Russia, and presentations of investment products by the residents of petrochemical and automotive clusters, medical and pharmaceutical companies, and companies within the IT cluster. The exhibition will present the achievements and showcase the potential of Privolzhsky Federal District in general and Nizhny Novgorod Region in particular, and discuss investment conditions in the Russian regions.
Participants in the Summit will include representatives of the Russian government and the government of Nizhny Novgorod, governors of Russia`s regions, including Kaluga Oblast, Ulyanovsk Oblast and Tatarstan, Federal Ministers, chairmen of the key Russian business associations, heads of leading Russian and international companies and knowledge institutions.
