PARLIAMENT NEWS
Chairman of Milli Majlis expressed gratitude to Mr. Lintner for assistance rendered to the Azerbaijan parliamentary delegation at the PACE winter session. And then updated the guest on the works done in the field of human rights and freedoms protection, adopted laws, on the by-elections forthcoming on 13 May current year, nothing these elections will also pass in full democratic and transparent environment.
Eduard Lintner has expressed satisfaction with development observable in Azerbaijan and hope for continuation in the further of democratic reforms in the country. He has emphasized, that by-election forthcoming in May, will influence on the growing image of Azerbaijan.
The parties had wide exchange of views on integration of the country into the European structures, preparation for by-elections forthcoming on May 13, to Milli Majlis and value of these elections, and also on other questions.
