PRESIDENT CONGRATULATES WOMEN OF AZERBAIJAN ON MARCH 8
The message, in particular, says: “Azerbaijani women, who added many glorious pages to our history, have played an exceptional role in forming and developing the system of our national and spiritual values. In Azerbaijan, a woman has always been held in profound respect; mother has always been regarded as an embodiment of Homeland,”
“Woman’s movement has created a solid basis for Azerbaijani women’s active involvement in the processes of democratization and state building in our country now following the path of dynamic development. The accomplishments our women achieved in sciences, education, culture, healthcare and other spheres of life, demonstrate how huge potential they possess,” the message says.
In the message, the President also expressed hope that the women of Azerbaijan will devote more attention to train the growing generation in the spirit of devotion to their motherland, national statehood, ideas of Azerbaijanism, and exert every effort to bring up worthy sons and daughters for our nation and society.
