PRESIDENT OF AZERBAIJAN RECEIVES TURKISH DELEGATION
Addressing the guests, the President cordially welcomed representatives of the fraternal people. President Aliyev said the relations between two brotherly countries are high level and develop dynamically. “Solidarity of Turkey and Azerbaijan is of great importance for both our two peoples and the entire region”, he emphasized.
The Second Congress of World Azerbaijanis is an event connecting our tow nations. A large delegation from Turkey is evidence to that.
Chairman of the Turkey-Azerbaijan inter-parliamentary friendship group Haluk Ipek said they were pleased for participation at this Congress.
Then, he spoke of inter-parliamentary links of two countries, noting the necessity of better coordination on mutual efforts, on the mutual parliamentary visit. He also dwelt on recent discussions of the Khoijali genocide at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.
Also in the reception, speaking was MP Yucel Artantash, MP, Deputy Chairman of the Justice and Development Party of Turkey Shaban Dishli, MP Dursun Akdemir.
President of Azerbaijan dwelt on the ongoing processes in region, on strengthening of the position of Turkey and Azerbaijan, on the completing Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline, noting significance of it.
President of Azerbaijan and the Turkish delegation were taken their photos in memory.
