Russia launches simplified customs corridor with Azerbaijan

Russia intends to launch a simplified customs corridor with Azerbaijan, head of the Russian Federal Customs Service Ruslan Davydov said in his interview to "RBK" website.
“Thanks to the "East-West" and "North-South" international corridors, it was possible to increase the turnover of goods by 35 percent. In addition to Azerbaijan, Russia plans to develop transport routes with Türkiye, Iran, China and Syria. The project of mutual recognition of the customs control results with Azerbaijan, China and Mongolia is also being implemented,” Davydov emphasized.
