SOCAR mulls purchase of Petkim Petrochemical Holding
Baku, February 8 (AZERTAC). SOCAR Turkey Energy will take part in a tender to purchase 10.32% of shares in Petkim Petrochemical Holding, executive director of SOCAR Turkey Energy, Kenan Yavuz said.
“Despite it is not strategically significant for the company to purchase Petkim we will participate in the tender,” Yavuz added.
Turkey set a deadline of 20 March for final bids to buy the state’s 10.3 percent stake in Petkim.
