Strasbourg hosts event marking "Year of Constitution and Sovereignty"

An event marking the "Year of Constitution and Sovereignty", organized by the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Council of Europe, was held at the University of Strasbourg.
The event was attended by Azerbaijani students and graduates studying at the University of Strasbourg, as well as representatives of the Azerbaijani community.
Addressing the event, Azerbaijan’s Permanent Representative to the Council of Europe, Ambassador Fakhraddin Ismayilov highlighted the exceptional importance of the first constitution of independent Azerbaijan, which was prepared and adopted by the commission chaired by National Leader Heydar Aliyev.
The Ambassador underlined that the historic victory of Azerbaijani brave Army under the leadership of Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev, in the Patriotic War, as well as the successful anti-terrorist operation carried out on September 19-20, 2023, served to realize this intention.
