Tajikistan hosts 12th conference of CIS countries secret services heads
Dushanbe, November 16 (AZERTAC). The 12th conference of the head of security bodies and intelligence services of CIS member countries was held in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
A delegation led by Minister of National Security, lieutenant- general Eldar Mahmudov represented Azerbaijan in the event.
The conference featured discussions on the development of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the security and intelligence services of the CIS member nations, international terrorism, fight against religious extremism, involvement of CIS citizens in activities of radical organizations and other issues.
This threat poses a serious threat to the countries of the Central Asia and tends to increase in recent years. In particular, it is illustrated by recent events in Kazakhstan.
