“THE FORGOTTEN GENOCIDE” BOOK PRESENTED IN BAKU
Vice-president of Forum Dilara Veliyeva, informing the gathered about Mr. Felix Sertsvadze, has noted, that the 63-years author nowadays living in state of Florida, USA, was born in Shamkir region of Azerbaijan, lived in Baku. He writes in Russian. His next book titled “The Forgotten Genocide” is the answer to the unfair authors distributing in Russian-speaking emigrant mass media biased information on the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The author names the Azerbaijani people, during millennia living on the juncture of Europe and Asia, as the great nation, and sincerely emphasizes, that when coryphaeus of this people - Nizami, Khagani, Nasimi, Fizuli, Khatai, Vagif, Natavan, Vazeh and others created, the majority of the present large states then did not exist yet. The book is devoted to memory of victims of the acts of the genocide committed by Armenians against Azerbaijan people in 1987-1994. The author tells about history of the conflict, since resettlement of the Armenians in region, about the policy of the ethnic cleaning carried out by them on occupied territories of Azerbaijan. The book has also been published in English.
Felix Sertsvadze, having thanked the visitors of presentation, has told: “My book is about a genocide to which Azerbaijan people as a result of aggression of Armenians and their helpers has undergone, and its thousand innocent victims. The figures brought here horrify, but the most terrible is that anybody from originators of this genocide is not punished. I would like, that the culprits deserved punishment. We well know participants of he crime against Azerbaijani people - Michael Gorbachev and representatives of the Armenian elite. When I described their barbarity, my opponents reproached me that I ostensibly exaggerate. The instigators, not hesitating, admit that their hands are empurpled with blood of Azerbaijanis. Felix Sertsvadze has brought to attention of participants of action M. Gorbachev's interview published in New York paper.
Further, the author marks, that for punishment of originators of the crimes accomplished against Azerbaijani people, he has addressed in the International Hague Court with the letter titled “Help To Punish The Murderers!”. And when he received the answerer demanding to prove the charges with documents, Felix Sertsvadze has called public organizations of Azerbaijan to participate in this work.
