Baku, 13 November (AZERTAC). On 21 November the Scotchmen are going to mark St Andrew`s Day in Baku, head of the State Historical-Architectural Reserve “Icherisheher” Mikayil Jabbarov stated. As a part of the holiday festivities, organized by the Baku Kaledonia Society, the Scotch national musicians at 13.00 pm on 21 November will perform in Icherisheher and have a past march.

The goal is to popularize Icherisheher on international arena, Jabbarov said.

“Kaledonia is one of the names of Scotland, and we are celebrating the 12th anniversary of our society which is one of the world associations where the Scotchmen gather. The Society is voluntary and engaged in charity activities. There is a similarity between the Azerbaijani and Scotland cultures. We think we have to give to our Azerbaijani friends, wider information about our customs-traditions, culture and history”, head of the Baku Kaledonia Society Rode Frasier said.
