‘THERE WILL NOT BE SUCH A WEAK ARMENIAN PRESIDENT’
Baku, September 1 (AZERTAC). Board member of the Armenian pan-national Movement Hovhannes Igityan dwelt on the prolongation of service of the Russian bases in Armenia.
Igityan said in the recent years, the Armenian authorities sign such kind of documents that can be commented as convenient.
Igityan noted that in accordance with the previous agreement, after the end of the bases service term, it had to be prolonged by 5 years if Armenia agreed. And why 25 years, he asks and answers that in the history of Russia there has never been and there will not be such a weak Armenian president, so the term has been prolonged now.
Igityan pointed out it had to be set in the document from whom Russia defends Armenia, and if Russia defends only its own interests, Armenia had to ask for compensation.
