Turkish Justice Minister meets Azeri Speaker
Baku, November 2 (AZERTAC). Visiting Turkish Justice Minister Sadullah Ergin met Wednesday with Speaker of the Milli Majlis Ogtay Asadov.
Asadov pointed out bilateral relations between the two countries are well developed. According to him, justice cooperation between the two strategic partners is developing successfully. He expressed confidence the Turkish Minister`s visit would give an impetus to development of bilateral ties in the legal field.
Milli Majlis chairman expressed condolences to the families of the killed as a result of the Van quake and speedy recovery to the injured.
Ergin congratulated Azerbaijan on its election as non-permanent member of the UN Security Council, saying it is a success for Turkey too.
Ergin thanked Azerbaijan since the country was the first to provide aid during Van temblor.
The Minister hailed Azerbaian`s becoming a regional leader. He said Turkey-Azerbaijan relations are eternal and unshakable.
Discussions at the meeting were also concerned with judicial reforms, cooperation in the law-making field and within international organizations.
