UN-Habitat: “Baku Urban Award” to foster global cooperation and experience sharing

“We believe that the WUF innovation, existing practices showcased here, and the new “Baku Urban Award” will contribute to sustaining our efforts,” said UN-Habitat Executive Director Anacláudia Rossbach in her address at the event titled “The Baku Urban Award: Scaling Housing Solutions for Global Impact” held as part of WUF13.
“We can continue gathering experiences at future World Urban Forums, but most importantly, they should be shared as a public good accessible to all. We are launching this award in Baku and remain committed to working with the Government of Azerbaijan and supporting curators,” she emphasized.
