Urban planning issues in Eastern Europe and Central Asia discussed at WUF13

The Azerbaijani capital city of Baku hosted another thematic event at the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), organized by the Regional Office for Eastern Europe and Central Asia (RoEECA).
The panel session, held at the “Voices from Cities” hall, featured discussions on pressing issues concerning architects and urban designers in the two regions that may appear geographically distant but share similar challenges faced today by urban specialists in Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
Speakers included representatives of the World Bank, ESCAP, and UNESCO.
