US Department of State hosts send-off ceremony of Azerbaijani ambassador
Baku, November 5 (AZERTAC). The US Department of State organized a send-off ceremony with completion of diplomatic mission of Azerbaijani ambassador to USA Yashar Aliyev.
The event brought together top-ranking representatives of the US Department of State, White House, Pentagon, international organizations, American scientific and research centers as well as Embassy of Azerbaijan.
Head of the protocol service of the department Capricia Marshall read out a letter of the US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. The letter says that on behalf of American people and administration of the President Barack Obama, Mrs. Clinton expresses a gratitude to ambassador Yashar Aliyev for his activity in strengthening of partnership relations between the two countries and good wishes on completion of his diplomatic mission in Washington.
Yashar Aliyev expressed his confidence in further development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and USA. Azerbaijani diplomat thanked the head and representatives of the US Department of State for a solemn reception and presented a picture with Maiden Tower to the head of the protocol service.
