VUGAR HASHIMOV CLIMBS INTO SECOND SPOT AT GIBRALTAR CHESS FESTIVAL

Baku, January 31 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani grandmaster Vugar Hashimov moved up to the second spot (3.5 points) after outplaying American Varujan Akopyan at the 7th Gibraltar international chess festival.

Greek chess player Vasilios Kotronians leads the tournament with 4 points garnered.
