‘WUF13 is one of key international platforms in sustainable urban development’

WUF13 is one of the key international platforms in the field of sustainable urban development, Sadegh Sadeghpour Aghdam, Secretary of the National Habitat Committee under the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development of the Islamic Republic of Iran, said in an interview with AZERTAC.
According to him, the significance of the forum lies primarily in the fact that it brings together leading experts, government officials, urban management specialists, non-governmental organizations, and members of the academic community from around the world, creating a unique platform for the exchange of experience and professional knowledge.
Sadeghpour Aghdam emphasized that such international discussions help develop key approaches to addressing contemporary challenges of urbanization, as well as formulate proactive strategies for future and more complex challenges in urban development.
He expressed hope for the successful hosting of WUF13 and once again thanked the Government of Azerbaijan for the high level of organization of the forum, as well as UN-Habitat for their joint efforts in organizing the event.
