16th edition of EcoVision published
Baku, September 3 (AZERTAC). The 16th edition of EcoVision journal, which was founded by the Azerbaijan-Turkey Business Association (ATIB) to support development of national business and provide businessmen with necessary information, has come out.
According to the ATIB, the edition was dedicated to youth employment.
The edition says the main challenge faced by the macro economy is elimination of unemployment.
“Being an important socio-economic indicator, the employment of the population demands a complex and fundamental approach. In Azerbaijan, the problems of youth are being solved on the level of ministry. That is why EcoVision interviewed the Minister of Youth and Sport of Azerbaijan Azad Rahimov.
On the Azerbaijani government’s steps towards ensuring youth employment, the Minister said the youth are being considered one of the most sensible categories on the labor market. “Currently, there are nearly three million youth aged between 14 and 29 in the country. Despite the view that the youth have poor working and life experience, we must not forget that they are full of energy, open to innovation, know foreign languages, and they are mobile and are good at advanced information technologies.”
The edition features an interview with head of the Turkish EGE Young Businessmen Association Seda Kaya, who highlighted Turkey`s e experience in solving youth employment problem. Kaya hailed Azerbaijan`s rapid development.
“The article notes that youth unemployment had become one of the major global problems. There are approximately 73 million unemployed young around the globe. According to statistics, the unemployment rate among the youth is three-fold bigger than among the elders.”
The edition also features an article by Bulent Aykut Suzer, the guest of Entrepreneur column.
Manager of Divan Express hotel, Aykut Suzer has a 24-year work experience in the fields of tourism, hotel maintenance and services.
The edition also covers global and regional issues, as well as the activity of the ATIB, and forthcoming global and regional events.
The journal also includes short reviews of several books published in Azerbaijan.
