92ND ANNIVERSARY OF AZERBAIJAN ARMED FORCES MARKED IN BRUSSELS
Baku, June 25 (AZERTAC). The Azerbaijan representation to NATO, the country`s military representation to the organization`s Military committee in conjunction with the Azerbaijan Embassy to Belgium organized an official reception in Brussels to mark the 92nd anniversary of the Azerbaijan Armed Forces, Azerbaijan representation to NATO told AZERTAC.
The event was attended by Ambassadors of foreign countries to NATO and Belgium, military attaches, representatives of NATO international secretariat, Military Committee and International Military Staff, representatives of Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE), members of the Azeri Diaspora. Visiting Azerbaijan Deputy Foreign Minister Mahmud Mammadguliyev and other staffers of the ministry were also present at the reception.
Head of the Azerbaijan representation to NATO, Ambassador Kamil Khasiyev and military attaché, major-general Huseyn Mahmudov provided the guests with information about Azerbaijan Armed Forces and Azerbaijan-NATO relations.
A photo exhibition titled Modern Baku Views was organized as part of the event.
The reception also featured live Azerbaijan classic music and Azerbaijan Armed Forces-related videos.
