ALI HASANOV: PARLIAMENTARY ELECTIONS IN AZERBAIJAN WILL BE FAIR, OPEN AND TRANSPARENT
Baku, June 23 (AZERTAC). The parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan will be conducted in a free, fair and transparent manner in accordance with the Election Code and in cooperation with international organizations, chief of the Presidential Administration`s department for socio-political affairs Ali Hasanov told journalists.
“Some political parties and their activists regularly express their views on falsification of elections to mislead the public and shape international community`s negative attitude towards Azerbaijan elections. Honestly, we are disappointed with that,” he said.
Ali Hasanov such views are groundless and contradict the steps to improve election practice and activity of election institutions in Azerbaijan.
Hasanov pledged that rights of every candidate, political party and organization will be ensured. All conditions will be provided for observation institutions and groups to ensure transparent election process.
