‘ARMENIA-OCCUPIED NAGORNO-KARABAKH IS TERRITORY OF AZERBAIJAN’
Baku, June 18 (AZERTAC). “The Armenia-occupied Nagorno-Karabakh region is the territory of Azerbaijan”, French senator Nathalie Goulet said in her remarks at the French Senate.
Ms. Goulet said the UN Security Council condemned this occupation adopting resolutions which demand unconditional withdrawal of the Armenian forces from the occupied territories of Azerbaijan.
The senator urged Armenia to honor these resolutions.
Ms. Goulet described Azerbaijan as an important political and economic partner of France.
“What initiatives will France come forward with to ensure return of refugees and IDPs to Nagorno-Karabakh?” Goulet asked.
