AUSTRIAN FM TO VISIT AZERBAIJAN
Baku, June 18 (AZERTAC). Austrian Minister of Foreign Affairs Michael Spindelegger will visit Azerbaijan.
According to Austrian ambassador in Baku Sylvia Meier-Kajbic, the minister will lead a large delegation, adding “this proes that Austria is keen on cooperation with Azerbaijan.”
“This covers both economic and cultural cooperation.”
Sylvia Meier-Kajbic said Austrian companies were interested in expansion of business in Azerbaijan.
Touching upon Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh, the ambassador said Austria backs all efforts for the peaceful solution of the dispute.
Spindelegger`s itinerary will include meetings with Azerbaijani Premier and Minister of Foreign Affairs to discuss the issues of economy, energy and security in the region and in the world, as well as cultural, scientific and cultural cooperation between the two countries.
