`Azerbaijan and Georgia are strategic allies`
Baku, January 17 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan and Georgia are not only friendly countries, but also strategic allies, said chairman of Azerbaijani Parliament`s committee for international relations and inter-parliamentary ties Samad Seyidov in the meeting with the deputy chairman of the Georgian parliament, chief of Georgia-Azerbaijan interparliamentary friendship group, Fridon Todua.
Seyidov pointed out that the two nations have friendship and brotherhood relations. He stressed that bilateral ties are boosting as a result of the policy carried out by the Heads of State. Shared positions of the two countries within the international organizations show that there are high level strategic partnership relations between the sides.
Azerbaijani MP also underlined that both countries are suffering from violation of territorial integrity and existence of refugees and IDPs problem. The parties should back each other to solve the relevant problems.
In turn, Todua said Georgia had always felt support of Azerbaijan.
