Azerbaijan International automotive exhibition wraps up in Baku
Baku, March 19 (AZERTAC). The 7th Azerbaijan International Automotive exhibition “AUTOSHOW 2011” and the 4th International Spare Parts, Accessories of the ITE Group - the leading organizer of the international trade exhibitions and conferences in the South Caucasus wrapped up in Baku Expo Center, on March 19.
The events were supported by Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Transport, Main Traffic Police Department, and National Confederation of Entrepreneurs` (Employers`) Organizations and ITECA Caspian LTD.
AutoShow 2011 presented over 100 companies. The list of exhibitors included companies from 14 countries and regions, such as Azerbaijan, Belorussia, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Canada, China, Malaysia, Russia, Lithuania, Taiwan, Turkey, Switzerland and Japan. The exhibition divided into three major sectors: passenger transport, commercial transport, and automotive parts and accessories for all types of transport.
The passenger sector of AutoShow brought together distributors of international manufacturers in the automotive industry, such as Nissan, Infiniti, Audi, Hyundai, Jaguar, Land Rover, Skoda, Volkswagen and others. A newcomer to this year`s event was the local manufacturer Nakhchivan Automotive Plant. Iranian companies presented the Saipa car.
Over the four days, the exhibition demonstrated different brands of cars to buyers, learned about trends in the global auto industry, also presented promising technologies that may soon enter into the daily lives and play a role in increasing comfort of transport for population. The AutoParts exhibition presented spare parts and feature producers and distributors of motor oils, filters, car care products and other automotive chemical products.
