‘Azerbaijan is developing rapidly in all spheres’
Baku, October 17 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan is developing rapidly in all spheres. There is favorable investment climate in the country, head of the Italy-Azerbaijan inter-parliamentary friendship group, Senator Rossana Boldi said at a meeting with Speaker of Azerbaijan`s Milli Majlis Ogtay Asadov.
Mrs Boldi stressed the necessity of development of cooperation between the parliaments of Azerbaijan and Italy even more.
On the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, the Senator said the problem must be settled peacefully and on the basis of norms and principles of international law.
Ogtay Asadov, in turn, said relationship between Azerbaijan and Italy was developing successfully. He expressed hope the Italian delegation`s visit would contribute to expansion of bilateral cooperation even more.
The Speaker also praised the level of cooperation between the two countries` legislative bodies.
Touching upon the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, Asadov expressed hope the resolution adopted by the Italian Senate last year on the situation in the South Caucasus would be useful for solution to the problem.
The sides also discussed other issues, including how to organize Azerbaijan-Italy Forum and intensify reciprocal visits.
