Azerbaijan is rapidly developing in all fields, senator Rosanna Boldi
Baku, 17 October (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan is a country which is rapidly developing in all spheres. We have witnessed the development of a favorable investment environment here. These words came from Senator Rosanna Boldi, Chairman of the Italy-Azerbaijan Inter-Parliamentary Friendship group in Italian Senate during her meeting with a speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament (Milli Majlis) Ogtay Asadov on Monday.
Speaker Ogtay Asadov, in turn, praised the enhancement of relations between Azerbaijan and Italy. “We believe that this visit will contribute to better expansion of bilateral cooperation,” Asadov said.
The sides mentioned trade turnover between two countries is increasing year by year. Ogtay Asadov briefed the guests on the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The speaker said he hopes a resolution on the situation in the South Caucasus adopted by the Italian Senate last year, will contribute to the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Dwelling on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Ms. Boldi said the problem should find its peaceful resolution based on the rules and principles of international law. The meeting also focused on organization of Azerbaijan-Italy Forum, intensification of mutual visits and other issues.
