Azerbaijan launches negotiations with Romanian SIVECO Company
Baku, March 30 (AZERTAC). Deputy Minister of Communications & Information Technologies of Azerbaijan Elmir Valizadeh has met with representatives of Romania’s SIVECO Company, business software development company, on March 29.
In the meeting, SIVECO Vice-President Alexander Kosbuk said that the Company has large experience in developing software solutions for the public sector, the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology reported.
SIVECO Romania has established contacts with Azerbaijan since 2007, Kosbuk said.
“Knowledge-based economy conception is one of the prospective fields for cooperation. This program allows establishing contacts among the state bodies including Ministries of ICT, Interior and Health,” he said.
Elmir Velizadeh, in turn, stressed the importance of expanding cooperation with Romania and informed of the talks being held with another Romanian company MTI.
SIVECO is one of the largest suppliers of software solutions for agriculture, education, health, oil, gas and nuclear sectors in Europe.
