AZERBAIJAN NAMES WRESTLERS TO BATTLE FOR EUROPEAN MEDALS

Baku, March 13 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s wrestling federation has announced the names of athletes who will compete for European championship`s medals in Vilnius, Lithuania, between March 29-April 6.

In the free-style event Azerbaijan will be represented by Jeyhun Aliyev weighing in at 55 kg, Zalimkhan Huseynov at 60 kg, Jabrayil Hasanov at 66 kg, Chamsulvara Chamsulvarayev at 74 kg, Novruz Temrezov at 84kg, Khetag Gazyumov at 96 kg and Ali Isayev at 120 kg.

In the Greco-Roman event Azerbaijan`s hopes will be pinned on Rovshan Bayramov weighing in at 55 kg, Fuad Aliyev at 60 kg, Farid Mansurov at 66 kg, Ilgar Abdulov at 74 kg, Shalva Gadabadzade at 85 kg, and Denis Mishin at 96 kg.

Mariya Stadnik weighing in at 48 kg, Amina Abbasova at 48 kg, Nadiya Gradyuk at 51 kg, Yelena Komarova at 55 kg, Sona Ahmadli at 59 kg, Olesya Zamula at 63 kg, Zumrud Gurbanhaciyeva at 67 kg and Dina Ivanova at 72 kg will compete in the women`s event.
