AZERBAIJAN, NATO DISCUSS BILATERAL RELATIONS
Baku, June 16 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s Minister of National Security, lieutenant-general Eldar Mahmudov met with NATO Secretary General`s Special Representative for the South Caucasus and Central Asia Robert Simmons.
Mahmudov praised successful realization of NATO IPAP and dynamic development of bilateral relations.
He highlighted the role of President Ilham Aliyev`s decisions to develop relations with international organizations, intensify cooperation with NATO and speed up the country`s Euro-Atlantic integration.
Simmons, in turn, said execution of the IPAP and National Security Ministry`s activity are very important.
The sides also discussed other issues concerning development of Azerbaijan-NATO relations.
