Azerbaijani government submits report to UN Committee on Rights of Child
Baku, January 20 (AZERTAC). The Azerbaijani government has submitted periodical (3rd - 4th ) report to the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child.
The event was attended by Azerbaijani delegation headed by Hijran Huseynova, chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, the permanent mission of Azerbaijan in UN Geneva section said.
The discussions were held with representatives of relevant bodies, who were informed on reforms and national plan of Azerbaijani government in this field.
The Azerbaijani delegation, composed of representatives of bodies, involved in protecting children, has met with their colleagues in UNISEF, highlighted the problems existing in Azerbaijan in the field of children's rights caused by the Armenian aggression and the ways of their removing.
