AZERI ACADEMICIAN KHOSHBAKHT YUSIFZADEH AWARDED FOREIGN MEMBER DIPLOMA IN GEORGIA
Tbilisi, September 7 (AZERTAC). The First Vice President of SOCAR, academician Khoshbakht Yusifzadeh received a foreign member diploma of Georgian National Academy of Sciences (GNAS). The award ceremony was held in Tbilisi. Presenting a diploma to Azeri academician, President of Georgian National Academy of Sciences Tamaz Gamkrelidze emphasized his contribution to the development of oil and gas industry in Azerbaijan.
In his speech academician Khoshbakht Yusifzadeh expressed gratitude to the staff of GNAS for the high estimation of his services. Also he said he highly values good-neighbor relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia and kind relations between presidents Ilham Aliyev and Mikheil Saakashvili.
The ceremony was attended by Vice-speaker of Georgian Parliament Rusudan Kervalishvili, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Georgia Namig Aliyev, Head of SOCAR Energy Georgia Mahir Mammadov and other officials.
On the same day Khoshbakht Yusifzadeh laid flowers at the monument to National Leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev in Tbilisi.
