Baku, Mart 29 (AZERTAC). The 32nd meeting on postal services of the Commission of the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications (RCC) and 21st meeting of the RCC Postal Operators Board started Monday in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

The event focuses on issues such as ensuring the integrity, reliability and security of postal services, draft of joint stamp issue, as well as the implementation of the Concept of Express Mail System (EMS) creation within the RCC and other important areas.

A workshop on regional approach for providing assistance in the field of designated operators will take place on March 29-31 as part of the Strategic Regional Project of the Universal Postal Union (UPI) “Improving the quality of service”.

Azerbaijan is being represented at the events by head of the postal sector of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies Novruz Mammadov.
