AZERI JUSTICE MINISTER MEETS FRENCH AMBASSADOR
Baku, June 18 (AZERTAC). Justice Minister of Azerbaijan, Chairman of the Judicial-Legal Council Fikrat Mammadov met Friday French ambassador Gabriel Keller.
The Minister said cooperation between Azerbaijan and France was developing in all spheres, including the judicial one.
Mammadov briefed the ambassador on the ongoing judicial and legal reforms in Azerbaijan.
He recalled that an agreement on cooperation between Justice ministries of Azerbaijan and France was signed in 2004.
The Minister also underlined the necessity of defining new priorities for judicial cooperation between the countries.
For his part, ambassador Keller said Azerbaijan and France had great potential to expand legal and judicial cooperation even more.
The diplomat also underlined the importance of conducting exchange of experience between the newly established Academy of Justice and French National School for the Judiciary.
