AZERI JUSTICE MINISTER MEETS HEAD OF OSCE OFFICE IN BAKU
Baku, June 21 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s Justice Minister, Chairman of Judicial-Legal Council Fikrat Mammadov has met today head of the OSCE Office in Baku Ali Bilge Cankorel.
The minister briefed Cankorel on the ongoing judicial reforms in Azerbaijan. He praised the cooperation between Azerbaijan and OSCE.
Mammadov stressed the role of the OSCE in the projects carried out in the country. He also underlined the importance of expansion of bilateral judicial cooperation even more.
Cankorel, in turn, hailed the judicial and legal cooperation between the OSCE and Azerbaijan. He particularly appreciated the transparency of the penitentiary system in the country.
The diplomat also put forward concrete proposals on bilateral cooperation.
