AZERTAC, KYODO SEAL COOPERATION ACCORD
Baku, June 2 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan State Telegraph Agency (AZERTAC), which is expanding its foreign relations, and Kyodo News Agency of Japan have clinched an agreement on cooperation.
AZERTAC and Kyodo have been cooperating within the Organization of Asia-Pacific News Agencies (OANA). With the signing of the agreement, both agencies establish direct contacts to exchange expertise and news.
Under the accord, the parties will assist each other in covering events in both countries, exchange news items, including photo, audio and video to spread them domestically.
Establishing and expanding cooperation with leading European and Asian news agencies are among AZERTAC`s priorities to inform the world community about realities of Azerbaijan.
The agreement with Kyodo, which is one of the world`s leading news agencies, is of great importance in this regard.
Kyodo and AZERTAC attach special significance to exchanging news with their partners. Both agencies have correspondent desks in various countries.
