EUROPEAN UNION AND AZERBAIJAN HOLD SEMINAR ON MOBILITY AND VISAS
Baku, June 19 (AZERTAC). The European Union in conjunction with Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry held a seminar on visas and mobility on June 17-18 as part of the Eastern Partnership program.
`The European Union is ready to offer increased mobility for citizens from partner countries willing to ensure that the conditions for a well managed and secure mobility are in place. For that matter, the dialogue we have established with Azerbaijan is very encouraging`, Ambassador Roland Kobia, Head of the EU Delegation in Baku, said in his opening speech.
During the seminar, representatives from relevant Azerbaijan ministries and agencies exchanged views with European Commission officials and experts on mobility issues. Visa policy, visa facilitation and readmission agreement, EU global approach to migration and asylum were among the themes discussed during the session.
