France `betrays` its Minsk group mission
Baku, January 24 (AZERTAC). France `betrayed` the mediation mission in the Minsk Group. This step is directly and indirectly directed against Azerbaijan, said Deputy Chairman, Executive Secretary of the New Azerbaijan Party Ali Ahmadov.
“I do not believe there will be anyone except for Armenians who will favor this irresponsible and absurd decision,” he said.
This decision affects national interests of Azerbaijan as well.
He noted French leaders have acted as lobbyists of Armenia in recent times.
Ahmadov pointed out the French parliament’s efforts to criminalize the denial of the so-called “Armenian genocide” comes from the love for Armenians.
According to him, Azerbaijan is rapidly developing and its role in the world is enhancing. From this point of view, interests of not only Turkey but also Azerbaijan were targeted.
