FRATERNAL TURKEY EXPRESS RESPECT TO PERSONALITY OF HEYDAR ALIYEV
The Ankara-based correspondent of AzerTAj reports that some official and Turkish private TV channels interrupted airing and began live broadcasting from the Baku international airport Bina. Television announcers said that coffin with the body of genius political figure Heydar Aliyev was delivered to his homeland so that it is a sorrowful tragedy not only for Azerbaijan but also for the entire Turkic world.
Scholars and men of art working in Turkey and students pursuing their study here, officers of the diplomatic corps accredited in Ankara and Istanbul came to the embassy to revere the memory of the national leader.
By estimation, over 5 thousand people came to the embassy in Ankara and general consulate in Istanbul to express deep respect to Heydar Aliyev.
