HEAD OF CAUCASIAN MUSLIMS` OFFICE TO PARTICIPATE IN CIS INTERRELIGIOUS COUNCIL`S MEETING
Baku, August 23 (AZERTAC). Head of the Caucasian Muslims`Office Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazadeh will participate in a meeting of the CIS Interreligious Council in Moscow.
Allahshukur Pashazadeh will appeal to Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia concerning the return of the body of Azerbaijan`s national hero Mubariz Ibrahimov.
Sergeant Ibrahimov died in Tartar region on the front after killing several Armenian soldiers when the Azerbaijani Armed Forces were repulsing an attack from the Armenian side.
Ibrahimov was posthumously made the National Hero of Azerbaijan by an Executive Order from President Ilham Aliyev.
