Hungary hosts event called Scientific Presentation of Azerbaijani Culture
Baku, February 24 (AZERTAC). The Eötvös Loránd and Corvinus Universities of Budapest hosted the event called "Scientific Presentation of Azerbaijani Culture". The event was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Hungary and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
Members of the Azerbaijani delegation briefed the audience on the Azerbaijani culture.
Speaking at the event ambassador of Azerbaijan to Hungary Vilayat Guliyev emphasized that the project "Scientific Presentation of Azerbaijani Culture" is important from the standpoint of promoting national culture and raising the awareness of Hungarian youth about Azerbaijan.
As part of the trip to Hungary, members of the Azerbaijani delegation met with the leadership of Eötvös Loránd and Corvinus Universities and discussed ways and areas for future cooperation.
The Corvinus University of Budapest is one of the most prestigious Hungarian universities located in Budapest, Hungary. The university offers degrees in multiple disciplines, but it is characterized by its programmes in economics and management. In 2006 it had a total of 17,000 students.
The Eötvös Loránd University or ELTE, founded in 1635, is the largest university in Hungary, located in Budapest. Today Eötvös Loránd University has 8 different faculties and more than 30,000 students.
