INDONESIAN RESEARCH CENTER LAUNCHED AT AZERBAIJAN UNIVERSITY OF LANGUAGES
Baku, June 30 (AZERTAC). The Azerbaijan University of Languages has hosted a ceremony to inaugurate an Indonesian Research Center.
Rector Samad Seyidov and Indonesia`s Ambassador in Iran and Azerbaijan Iwan Wiranataatmadja cut the ribbon symbolizing the official opening of the center.
Speaking to the launch ceremony, Seyidov said: “The opening of the center is a remarkable event.”
He expressed confidence the center would contribute to developing the relations between the two countries.
“I believe the Research Center will open up new prospects for the bilateral relations between Indonesia and Azerbaijan.”
Wiranataatmadja praised the opening of the Indonesian Research Center.
The ambassador touched upon the diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Indonesia, expressing confidence the “newly-opened facility will serve to develop our ties in this field”.
The event also featured a ceremony to present two Indonesian state orders to professor of the Azerbaijan University of Languages Habib Zarbaliyev.
He was awarded the Order for merits in the field of culture and the Order of Honor 1st degree.
