“Kharibulbul” Festival: A vibrant music and dance celebration of brotherly nations on Jidir Duzu Plain

Organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Ministry of Culture, the “Kharibulbul” International Music Festival in Shusha promotes cultural dialogue and artistic exchange among musicians.
This year’s event continues this tradition, bringing together Azerbaijani performers and international artists.
On the second day of the festival, the State Dance Ensembles of Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan performed a concert showcasing their traditional music, dances, and costumes. The program highlighted the festival’s international spirit, celebrated cultural diversity, and delighted the audience with memorable performances.
Festival participants shared their impressions with AZERTAC. Head of the Uzbekistan State Dance Ensemble, Dilfuzakhon Djorabayeva, hailed the excellent organization, warm hospitality in Azerbaijan, and the success of their performance. She also noted that the joint concert featuring Azerbaijani, Uzbek, and Turkmen ensembles went smoothly and expressed gratitude to the organizers, saying they were pleased with their visit.
A Shusha resident, Aynur Yusufova, expressed pride in participating in the “Kharibulbul” Music Festival, noting its significance for the city’s cultural revival and the return of the traditional event to Shusha.
Aygun Imanova, the festival participant, emphasized that the event left a positive impression on her, praising the concert program, especially the performances of the Azerbaijani, Uzbek, and Turkmen dance ensembles, and welcomed the regular organization of such cultural events.
