Lyon head coach Peter Bosch will continue with the club next season

French Lyon coach Peter Bosch will lead the team next season. According to L’Equipe, the decision was confirmed by club president Jean-Michel Olas.

In the French championship, Lyon are in eighth place with 49 points and still have a chance of qualifying for European competition next season. Also, the team led by Bosch reached the quarter-finals of the Conference League, where they lost on aggregate to English West Ham United.

Recall that the Dutch specialist has headed Lyon since the beginning of the 2021/2022 season. On March 23, 2021, Bosh was fired from his post as Bayer Leverkusen manager. The reason for the dismissal of the Dutch specialist was the team’s poor results in recent matches.

Bosch took charge of the German club in 2018, and before that he worked at Borussia Dortmund, Ajax, Maccabi (Tel Aviv), Vitesse, Heracles and other clubs in the Netherlands.
