MEETING IN THE MINISTRY OF EMERGENCIES OF AZERBAIJAN
Having welcomed the visitors, the Minister of Emergencies has with satisfaction emphasized steady improvement of connections between the Azerbaijan Republic and Republic of Korea in political, economic and other spheres.
Having expressed gratitude for warm reception, the Korean diplomat spoke about widening contacts between two countries, also has noted quick development of Azerbaijan in all areas. He congratulated Kamaladdin Heydarov on new appointment and was interested in principles of work of the Ministry of Emergencies of the Republic.
Minister K. Heydarov has told about the purposes of the Ministry of Emergencies created by the Order of the President of Azerbaijan of Ilham Aliyev, and has in detail informed on the directions of activity.
The Minister noted, that the overall objective of the Ministry is the prevention of natural calamities, failures of technogenic character and fires in Azerbaijan, liquidation of their consequences, management from the common center activity of corresponding bodies on saving and restoration works, realization in the country of civil defense. ‘In this sense’ - Mr. Heydarov said - ‘the special attention is given to application during work of the experience which has justified on international scene'.
At the meeting, the parties had exchange of views on a number of other questions representing mutual interest.
