MINSK HOSTS CIS EXPERT GROUP`S SESSION TO REFINE EDUCATIONAL CONCEPT

Baku, August 20 (AZERTAC). A session of an expert group to fine-tune the draft concept to promote education in culture and art in the CIS member states has been held in Minsk.

The event brought together representatives from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Armenia.

The draft concept identifies the present day issues that necessitate education reforms in culture and art, outlines goals and tasks of education, the essence and principles of art education.

According to the draft document, it is essential to constantly upgrade the methodological base, forms and methods of art education taking into consideration the best national and international practices, to create a modern-day system of advanced training based on modern-day needs and trends. A special emphasis is made on introducing innovative models and techniques, promoting cutting-edge technologies, making art education affordable to everyone.
