Moldovan Premier meets Azeri ambassador
Baku, January 14 (AZERTAC). Moldovan Prime-Minister Vlad Filat has met today with Namig Aliyev, the Azeri Ambassador to Moldova. They discussed Filat’s official visit to Republic of Azerbaijan, which will take place January 17-18.
The Premier stated that the purpose of his visit is to develop relations between countries, as well as strengthening the co-operation in the fields of economy, trade, energy and culture.
“We have prepared many projects which we want to implement together with the Azeri side, projects which will benefit both sides,” said the Moldovan Premier.
The Prime-Minister mentioned strong relations between Azerbaijan and Moldova, saying both countries are members of regional and European organizations, such as GUAM, OSCE, the Council of Europe and the Eastern Partnership.
The Ambassador said that Filat’s agenda includes many activities and meetings. Aliyev said that he is confident in the future strengthening of the Moldovan-Azeri relations.
